New stuff and direction!
Hello!
After a week of on and off development, A few things have been added and changed. Keep in mind that everything in the new screenshot is a work in progress and also potentially placeholder stuff. The lamp posts and paths were quick additions to help give the current prototype some more detail, rather than looking like a combination of different squares (even if the player and other people are still squares currently).
The gameplay has changed as well. You no longer have to chase squares (people) around the screen to gain points. You must now go through multiple rooms to search for people to gain points (known as 'People Talked to' as you must talk to people and say goodbye before you pass on since that's the point of the game). Once you have approached and said goodbye to enough people in one room, you can move on to the next one (There is text on the screen telling you to do so but I couldn't get it to fit in the screenshot, sorry!). Currently the features seen in the new screenshot are only in the first room and not the others that I have made, but they soon will be! I am currently adding things, testing ideas and changing stuff at a steady pace, and I am hoping to add more to the game as soon as I can. The game's page will also be updated shortly to reflect this update.
Thank you for your time!
